My inspiration comes from the aesthetic differences of woman between Eastern and Western countries.
Then I did some research about what kind of Chinese beauties do Chinese people like and what kind of Chinese beauties do foreigners like. But there are great differences between aesthetics. Then I realize that if I put appropriate foreign facial features on an oriental face, it will also look good. So I want to make a set of jewelry about accepting diversified beauty standards.
I think it is more widely accepted to design the shape of jewelry into abstract and colorful patterns, so I investigated several relevant designers.
What I want to do is a headcover with replaceable facial features to show characteristics of all kinds of faces can appear on one face to show the diversity and tolerance of beauty.
So I chose soft pottery to make exaggerated facial features, and metal materials to make the bottom support and head cover of soft pottery.
My final works included a facial accessory(30*25*20) and 8 Soft pottery facial features(6*4)
