The project is Sleep, the theme of this project is how to rest comfortably while travelling. I am a student who goes to school across two cities, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, and I have to commute for a very long time. Sometimes three hours for a single trip, sometimes four hours. Such a long commute makes me very, very tired, especially when I need to leave at 5am on Monday morning if I miss the bus on Sunday evening. So I decided to start this project. I started by researching the items that allowed people to rest during the journey. Then I analysed those areas that were generally prone to soreness and discomfort. Then I made a lot of pillows and took apart some picture frames to try and support the body properly. I also made some 3D samples to add to the atmosphere.
